Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule (includes weekends)

Staffmark is currently seeking a dedicated Extruder Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Van Wert, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to thrive in a hands-on production environment.

What It Takes

• Good with mechanics, tools, and small repairs
• Detail-driven with pride in your work
• Able to lift and move heavy loads
• Works well with the crew, safety always first

Daily Responsibilities

• Meet daily production targets
• Change screens every hour
• Catch and recycle materials from the screen changer, diverter, and vent
• Skim water holding tanks hourly
• Keep extruder vent clear at all times
• Complete all required paperwork accurately
• Assist feeder operations to maintain a full extruder
• Properly package pellets using appropriate boxes and skids
• Clean Gaylord liners and weigh finished product
• Fill out and apply PRT labels
• Store finished materials and reprocess overflow as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
