Job Title: Warehouse Analyst

Position Summary

The Warehouse Analyst is responsible for analyzing warehouse operations, developing actionable insights, and creating advanced reports to support inventory accuracy, labor productivity, space utilization, and overall supply chain performance. This role requires a strong background in supply chain analytics, report generation, and advanced report building to drive operational efficiency and support decision-making across warehouse and distribution functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze warehouse and supply chain data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for warehouse performance.
  • Build advanced reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators such as productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, on-time shipping, and capacity utilization.
  • Support warehouse leadership with data-driven recommendations to improve labor planning, workflow efficiency, and process performance.
  • Monitor and validate data integrity across warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
  • Partner with operations, inventory control, transportation, and supply chain teams to gather reporting requirements and provide meaningful analysis.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues including inventory discrepancies, shipping delays, and process inefficiencies.
  • Assist in forecasting labor and operational needs based on volume trends and business demands.
  • Standardize reporting processes and improve report automation where possible.
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and business reviews for management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by measuring results and tracking performance against established goals.
  • Ensure reporting deadlines are met with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a supply chain analyst, warehouse analyst, or logistics analyst role.
  • Strong background in supply chain analytics and warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience in report generation and advanced report building.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, charts, and data analysis functions.
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory control processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret large data sets and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to operational and leadership teams.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SQL, database querying, or other data extraction tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting KPIs in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
