Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive strategic and operational excellence across cross-site, cross-functional teams within the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and biologics development sectors. In this role, you will develop comprehensive project plans, perform critical path analyses, manage risks, and lead scenario planning to support successful project execution. Through strong leadership and collaboration with project team leaders, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders, you will ensure clear communication of project strategies, decisions, and evolving dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage robust project plans outlining key activities, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets required to achieve product approval within scope and schedule.
  • Drive alignment to strategic objectives and ensure adherence to approved project scope.
  • Proactively manage project risks by leading risk assessments, evaluating mitigation strategies, and developing contingency plans to support informed decision-making.
  • Incorporate eROI (Expected Return on Investment) considerations into team decisions and communicate recommendations effectively to governance bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate key business processes, including operating plans, prioritization activities, budgeting, lessons learned, and project closeout activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to project management colleagues, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, including demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project/program strategy development, and translating strategy into actionable execution plans.
  • 3+ years of experience in drug product development or manufacturing processes, with a strong understanding of cross-functional interdependencies within the drug development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a scientific discipline.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, including Critical Path Management, Risk Management, and Decision Analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex scenarios and deliver impactful executive-level presentations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and align diverse teams around shared priorities.
  • Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to work independently, build effective cross-site relationships, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
