Viracon LLC Position Info Viracon is a leader in architectural glass. We are the largest single site glass fabricator in the U.S. and one of the largest in the world. We offer over a million customizable options for customers unique specifications in the architectural glass industry. We are looking for an Order Entry Specialist to join our team! In this position you will have a hand in the process of building some of the most elegant large-scale buildings across the world. Learn more about Viracon by watching our YouTube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ho6R9kefDds Function: In this role, this individual will support the Account Representative Team in order line entry and quote line entry within the Viper system. This person must possess the ability to learn the basics about Viracon's products, the ability to input data accurately and in a timely fashion, and work closely in a partnering relationship, which fosters the sales department's team philosophy. Essential Job Responsibilities: Communicate with Project Managers and Estimators to accurately input order details, quote order lines and samples into the database. Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of Viracon's computer systems (VIPER, Microsoft Office products, the Intranet, etc) Responsible for timely processing of order details and/or quote details submitted by Project Managers and Estimators. Accountable for accurate sight verification and key verification of all orders before routing them back to the Project Management Team. Perform switchboard responsibilities as assigned. Other duties as assigned by the Sales Management Team Performs duties in accordance with the Business Process Documentation. Participates in Viracon's Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding his/her team's performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent GED required. Ten key skills preferred. Possess basic math skills including having the knowledge of fractions, geometric patterns and the metric system. Ability to get along well with others. Ability to take supervision. Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Products. Excellent detail and self-organizational skills. Possess the ability to use proper telephone and email etiquette. Regular full-time attendance. Promotes Viracon in a positive manner and obeys all policies. Perform essential job responsibilities.
