Selling Sales Manager - Lead.Sell.Grow.

We're seeking a Selling Sales Managerwho can lead from the front, someone who is passionate about developing people, driving results, identifying opportunities, and continuing to win business. This unique opportunity allows you to build and mentor a high-performing sales team while maintaining your own book of business and directly contributing to company growth.

This role requires more than sales expertise. The ideal candidate understands the electrical industry and can confidently engage customers in conversations around electrical systems, code compliance, infrastructure improvements, safety concerns, and potential project opportunities. You'll be expected to recognize customer needs, uncover opportunities that others miss, and position solutions that create value for the client.

As a Selling Sales Manager, you'll serve as both a coach and a producer-recruiting, training, and motivating sales professionals while leading by example through your own sales success. You'll help your team develop not only their selling skills but also their technical understanding of electrical systems and services.

What You'll Do

Sales & Business Development



  • Drive new business growth through personal sales efforts and relationship development.
  • Identify and capitalize on electrical service, maintenance, upgrades, and new construction opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, general contractors, and industrial customers.
  • Develop and present solutions that address customer challenges and operational goals.


Sales Leadership



  • Recruit, coach, and develop a successful sales team.
  • Lead sales strategy, accountability, and performance management.
  • Conduct pipeline reviews, ride-alongs, and ongoing sales training.
  • Create a culture of achievement, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Set the standard by actively selling and closing business.



Technical Expertise



  • Understand electrical systems, service work, maintenance programs, and construction projects.
  • Recognize opportunities related to code compliance, aging infrastructure, capacity issues, safety concerns, energy efficiency, and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop accurate solutions and proposals.
  • Help guide customers through electrical challenges by serving as a trusted advisor rather than just a salesperson.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of NFPA and NEC code requirements and industry best practices.



What We're Looking For



  • Proven success in industrial, commercial and owner direct B2B sales.
  • Experience in the electrical contracting, construction, electrical distribution, or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and applications.
  • Ability to identify project opportunities and communicate technical solutions to customers.
  • Leadership experience or a demonstrated desire to lead and develop others.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven.



Compensation & Training



  • Base Salary:$90,000
