Moog's Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG) is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Cost & Pricing Analyst to play a critical role in shaping pricing strategy and driving profitable growth across the business. You will lead cost and pricing activities for moderately complex to highly complex proposals and serve as a trusted business partner across Engineering, Programs, Sales, Finance, Contracts, and Operations.

As a Senior Cost & Pricing Analyst, you will report to the Cost & Pricing Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

As a Senior Cost & Pricing Analyst, you will...

  • Lead cost and pricing analyses for moderately to highly complex proposals, including pricing strategies, cost volumes, and pricing schedules for RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and ROMs.

  • Develop, own, and enhance advanced financial and cost models, including ROI, NPV, lifecycle cost, and economic value analyses.

  • Perform sophisticated sensitivity analyses, scenario modeling, and risk assessments to evaluate margin, volume, and profitability tradeoffs.

  • Provide strategic, data-driven pricing recommendations to leadership that balance competitiveness, customer requirements, risk, and long-term business objectives.

  • Serve as a key cross-functional advisor, partnering with Engineering, Programs, Contracts, Finance, Sales, and Operations to align pricing assumptions, rates, and strategies.

  • Review proposal and contract pricing terms to ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and pricing governance standards.

  • Support negotiations by supplying cost realism analyses, margin assessments, and pricing rationale as needed.

  • Lead pricing support for new product introductions, price adjustments, and cost-reduction initiatives.

  • Maintain, enhance, and standardize pricing tools, calculators, databases, and templates to support scalability across multiple divisions.

  • Manage price lists, contract updates, catalogs, and pricing system implementations in collaboration with Sales, Operations, IT, and Finance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing accuracy, cycle time, and process efficiency while championing continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure pricing data integrity across price lists, catalogs, contracts, and pricing systems.

  • Mentor junior analysts and help elevate pricing discipline across the organization.

  • Supporting multiple stakeholders across engineering, operations, and commercial functions.

  • Managing pricing accuracy and governance across proposals, contracts, and systems.

  • Driving continuous improvement in pricing tools, data quality, and processes.

  • Navigating dynamic customer requirements and shifting program priorities.

To be considered for Senior Cost & Pricing Analyst, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, cost modeling, proposal support, or a similar analytical role.

  • Strong background in cost modeling, margin analysis, and product economics, preferably within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

  • Advanced expertise in Excel and financial modeling, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and lead analyses with minimal direction.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • High attention to detail, sound business judgment, and strong analytical acumen.

  • Experience improving tools, templates, and pricing processes.

  • SAP experience preferred but not required.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $95,000.00-$130,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
