Are you a meticulous problem-solver with a passion for optimizing operations and driving financial accuracy? We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to become an integral part of a vital operations team. In this role, you won't just process data; you'll be at the forefront of enhancing efficiency, ensuring compliance, and providing critical support that directly impacts the seamless functioning of essential services. Your analytical prowess will translate into tangible improvements, from streamlining work order management to optimizing equipment lifecycles, making a significant contribution to operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with supervision to review work orders for accuracy and completeness.

* Conduct comparative analysis of labor hours across similar work activities.

* Finalize work orders and production orders within enterprise systems.

* Identify and resolve errors and discrepancies in workload reports.

* Support the creation and updating of production order catalogs.

* Perform detailed cost analysis for projects, comparing internal execution versus contracted services.

* Analyze tool repair versus replacement costs to inform strategic decisions.

* Provide data-driven insights to enhance productivity and manage expenses.

* Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for managing work orders, production orders, equipment masters, and generating reports.

* Create and update equipment master records.

* Maintain and update preventive maintenance schedules.

* Manage and update tool inventory records.

* Assist with tool committee activities under guidance.

* Track tool repairs and evaluate associated costs.

* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

* Update and maintain operational manuals with supervision.

* Ensure accuracy and version control for all documentation.

* Support payroll reporting and time corrections under guidance.

* Process invoices efficiently.

* Utilize procurement systems for purchasing.

* Generate purchase orders.

* Initiate contract requests.

* Maintain and update internal web pages.

* Manage internal collaboration sites, including content updates and calendar verification.

* Communicate effectively using modern collaboration and email platforms.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* High School diploma or equivalent.

* Minimum two years of experience in a general office environment.

* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

* Proficiency in basic mathematical skills.

* High level of accuracy in data entry.

* Demonstrated ability to use routine problem-solving and organizational skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

* Adaptability to changing demands in a multi-task, fast-paced environment.

* Strong prioritization skills to complete assignments effectively.

* Proficiency in:

* Microsoft Word

* Microsoft Excel

* Microsoft PowerPoint

* Microsoft Teams

* Microsoft Outlook

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Working knowledge of database management software (e.g., Access).

**Physical Requirements:**

* Manual dexterity to operate a desktop or laptop personal computer.

* Ability to view a monitor or computer screen for extended periods.

* Ability to operate standard office equipment (telephone, copier, fax, calculator).

* Comfortable functioning in a typical office environment.

* Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or minimal force frequently to move objects.

* Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel for filing, and sit for extended periods.

* Flexibility to work occasional overtime to meet deadlines.

* Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

* Willingness to perform some fieldwork in varying conditions.

This is an ONSITE W2 contract opportunity in Houston - only local candiates will be considered.
