As a vital member of our clinical operations team, you'll provide administrative support to ensure our practice runs smoothly and efficiently. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you'll be the friendly face that plays a key role in creating a positive, efficient, and compassionate environment for both patients and clinical staff. The Practice Assistant II supports efficient practice operations by providing administrative and patient-facing support under general supervision. Responsibilities include scheduling, check-in/check-out, patient communication, and office coordination. Duties may vary by department. What You'll Do: * Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment records. * Greet and assist patients and respond to routine inquiries. * Manage phone calls, appointment scheduling, and message routing. * Process billing forms and scan documents into EPIC. * Request medical records and laboratory results. * Distribute mail and faxes and prepare routine correspondence. * Collect patient co-payments as needed. * Handle messages related to prior authorizations, provider questions, prescription refills, and test results. * Serve as an EPIC Super User for scheduling, registration, and billing systems (training provided). * Assist with training staff and perform advanced scheduling functions, including surgical scheduling and schedule management, as needed.
