Job Description

Visa is seeking an innovative, digitally fluent Senior Designer to support corporate marketing activation for Value-Added Services, a strategic growth area for the business. This role will help elevate Visa's brand presence through compelling visual storytelling across digital campaigns, motion content, event experiences, presentations, web experiences, and executive communications.

This designer will partner closely with marketing, product, and executive stakeholders to translate complex payment and banking concepts into clear, modern, and engaging creative. The ideal candidate combines strong conceptual thinking with hands-on craft, brings a systems mindset to brand expression, and is comfortable working across motion, interactive, and presentation-based formats.

We are looking for a designer who is highly collaborative, kind, and curious-someone who can raise the level of the work, contribute to the evolution of our design systems, and help the team work smarter in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development & Execution

  • Design and produce high-quality creative deliverables across digital, motion, presentation, and static formats, ensuring consistency with Visa's brand standards.
  • Develop visual solutions for a range of asset types, including presentations, interactive demos, conference and event materials, webinars, executive newsletters, emails, infographics, illustrations, short-form videos, and web assets.
  • Create motion graphics, animations, and visual storytelling elements for video, digital, and experiential applications.
  • Support video post-production, including editing, animation, and motion design. No filming or on-set production required.
  • Design immersive and digitally enabled experiences for events and campaigns, incorporating motion, interactivity, and narrative flow where appropriate.

Brand Systems & Storytelling

  • Translate complex business, product, and payment concepts into clear, compelling, audience-centric visual communication.
  • Extend and evolve Visa's visual systems across channels and formats while maintaining consistency, scalability, and creative excellence.
  • Apply a human-centered approach to design, prioritizing clarity, accessibility, usability, and emotional resonance.
  • Contribute to the development of motion and digital best practices within the team's design system.

Digital & Interactive Design

  • Design modern web and interactive experiences using tools such as Figma, Ceros, and Webflow.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of digital experience design principles, including responsiveness, motion behavior, accessibility, and performance considerations.
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, motion specialists, and production partners to bring interactive concepts to life.
  • Prototype ideas and communicate interaction intent clearly, whether through design tools, no-code/low-code platforms, or lightweight coded explorations where relevant.

AI-Enabled Workflow & Creative Judgment

  • Use AI-assisted tools thoughtfully to support concept exploration, visual reference development, content variation, and iterative refinement-while maintaining strong design judgment, authorship, and accountability for the final work.
  • Direct and refine AI outputs through clear constraints, curated inputs, and iterative review to ensure alignment with brand standards, audience needs, and project goals.
  • Apply sound judgment around brand safety, visual consistency, accessibility, and intellectual property considerations when using AI-assisted workflows.
  • Identify practical opportunities to improve team workflows through AI-enabled tools and emerging creative technologies, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and real-world usefulness rather than novelty.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to shape creative responses to business needs and campaign objectives.
  • Present ideas clearly, explain creative rationale, and incorporate feedback with maturity and agility.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing craft, speed, and strategic priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid position.Expectationofdays intheoffice will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 7+ years of professional design experiencewith a strong portfolio demonstrating digital-first brand work across a mix of motion, campaign, presentation, web, interactive, and/or experiential design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Animation, Illustration, Video Production, UX/UI, or a related field-or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven ability to translate complex topics into clear, visually engaging stories and communications.
  • Strong conceptual thinking paired with high-quality hands-on execution across multiple channels and formats.
  • Advanced proficiency inAdobe Creative SuiteandFigma.
  • Experience designing for modern digital platforms and tools such asCeros,Webflow, and presentation platforms such asPowerPoint.
  • Experience with motion design, animation, and/or video post-production.
  • Understanding of digital experience fundamentals, including interaction design, responsive behavior, accessibility considerations, and performance-aware design decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, marketers, strategists, and motion specialists to deliver polished digital experiences.
  • Demonstrated comfort using AI-assisted creative tools in practical, production-relevant ways that improve ideation, iteration, or workflow quality without compromising design judgment or brand integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines across multiple workstreams.
  • Portfolio required. Portfolio should demonstrate:
    • Strong design craft and conceptual thinking
    • Systems thinking across channels
    • Examples of motion, storytelling, or interaction design
    • Clarity on the candidate's role in each project
    • Where applicable, evidence of how AI-assisted workflows were used thoughtfully and effectively
  • Experience in B2B marketing, fintech, payments, technology, or other complex subject-matter environments.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such asEloquaand CMS environments such asAEM.
  • Experience with immersive experience design, 3D design/animation, or environmental/event graphics.
  • Hands-on familiarity withHTML5, CSS, and JavaScriptfor prototyping, lightweight interactive builds, or effective collaboration with development partners.
  • Experience contributing to or scaling design systems across brand, digital, or motion applications.
  • Curiosity about improving creative operations, workflows, and team effectiveness through new tools and emerging practices.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 116,300.00 to 186,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
