Services & Support Operations Division

The Services and Support Operations (SSO) is a global leader of integrated MRO services and support. We are proud to serve airlines/ business jet operators, the military, airframe/ engine manufacturers, as well as independent service centers. With our extensive network of service teams worldwide, MRO facilities, proprietary predictive modeling, and advanced systems, we offer 24/7 operational and technical support wherever it's needed.

Order Admin (SSO Division - Location: Hill Air Force Base, Utah)

Position Summary

With minimum supervision, responsible for administrative duties of broad scope and complexity in support of the Hill Performance Based Logistics contract requiring independent judgement and familiarity with applicable procedures. Assists Account Manager and Customer Service Account Admin with customer requests, monitors performance and delivery, investigates complaints, and ensures compliance with warranty or maintenance agreements.

Essential Functions:

  • Following established procedures, perform a variety of administrative responsibilities.
  • May be required to perform some or all the following:
    • Function within the Microsoft 365 Office business suite of software tools.
    • Document business meeting minutes and distribute amongst all key stakeholders
    • Create documents containing financial or statistical data or scientific,
      technical or legal terminology.
    • Enter and manipulate data on spreadsheets, database or file management programs.
    • Set priorities and procedures for accomplishing work.
    • Collect data, conduct research and compile information using a variety of mathematical calculations for a broad range of reports and projects.
    • Compose, analyze and distribute documents. Proofread and correct grammatical, typographical, compositional, or data errors.
  • Focus on repair processes and stock allocation to maximize service levels; communicates to the customers new repair schedules as needed.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving claims, complaints, and billing discrepancies, coordinating with technical and quality teams.
  • Support critical priority services such as aircraft-on-ground situations.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through training and industry involvement; ensure compliance with aerospace regulations.
  • Share expertise, represent the company on projects, and contribute to team and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Understands and processes information within customer databases, examples include Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) DD250 invoices and aircraft components historical records (2410s and AFTO 95s)
  • Communicate regularly with the on-site Depot Partner to prioritize production.

Qualifications:

  • Three years of related office experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
  • Education certificate in applicable functional area preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of office equipment, administrative procedures and/or terminology in functional area.
  • Ability to accurately record meeting proceedings, where applicable.
  • Ability to accurately type 55 wpm, where applicable. Personal computer skills may be required.
  • Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of Parker products and customers.
  • Knowledge of and ability to effectively apply implement continuous improvement principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of the US Government Depot structure and the ability to work with US Civil Service employees to meet production goals
  • Proficient with standard business application software and specialized data analysis or materials systems (e.g., electronic data interface (EDI) or manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies and contracts or agreements, and recommend changes to procedures.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders, and customers.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.

This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
