Overview

Microsoft's Brand & Advertising team is scaling its inhouse production capabilities to support a growing volume of global creative work. We are seeking a Production Coordinator to support the systems and operations that move creative assets from production through delivery and longterm archiving-ensuring accuracy, visibility, and consistency across campaigns and channels.

The Production Coordinator plays a foundational role in helping the organization operate smoothly and at scale. This role is focused on executional excellence, supporting producers and creative teams through disciplined asset trafficking, delivery management, and archival practices that keep work organized, compliant, and easy to access.



Responsibilities
  • Manage asset trafficking, delivery, and archiving across campaigns and channels
  • Track versions, approvals, specs, and delivery status
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure assets are properly named and stored
  • Support QA checks prior to final delivery
  • Partner with producers and agencies to support delivery timelines
  • Maintain production trackers and documentation
  • Support continuous improvement of asset management workflows


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • 1+ year(s) experience in professional production environment (e.g., lighting, shooting, audio recording, web production, writing), post-production environment, or broadcasting (e.g., local news) OR equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in production coordination, creative operations, asset management, trafficking and delivery management, and archival practices.
  • Familiarity with DAM (Digitial Asset Management) systems, file structures, and production trackers
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear communicator who works well across teams
  • Comfortable supporting multiple workstreams simultaneously


Video Production IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
