Description

Stinson LLP is seeking an Associate with at least three years of environmental law experience to join our Energy, Environmental, Mining and Transportation Division in our Kansas City office. The Associate will primarily work with attorneys in the Environmental group.

The position offers the ability to join a well-established, growing and highly sophisticated practice with attorneys who represent clients in a wide range of industries. The position will include wide-ranging environmental work, from regulatory, litigation and transactional practice areas.

Qualified candidates must have at least three years of experience in environmental law. Experience working in the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and/or CERCLA and underlying regulations is also required. Background in sciences, engineering, LL.M. in environmental law or other skills relevant to environmental law should be described in the cover letter.

Qualified applicants will possess excellent academic credentials and have strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills and be licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Missouri.
