About the Role:
The Automation Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining custom web, desktop, and mobile applications for General Dynamics Land Systems.

- 9-80 Work Schedule (This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off).

Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
- Develop or modify custom programs for existing applications such as reports, interfaces, conversions or extensions
- Design and develop custom systems where COTS applications are not applicable
- Test, debug and document custom programming
- Follow internal design standards
- Follow internal development methodology
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT related field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems). Other degrees will be considered with relevant experience. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- 5 years of development experience
- Experience with working with AI Models
- Experience with Data Collection and Preparation
- Experience with Integration and Deployment
- Experience with Web Services (IIS / Tomcat)
- Experience migrating home-grown solutions to new Enterprise ready environments
- Experience with BOT development, Automation, ChatGPT.
- Experience with using SFTP to push and pull data from external systems.
- Experience working with sensitive / personal data.
- Experience Cloud Applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent Python development skills
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of IT development methodology such as Agile or Waterfall
Additional Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of SOX IT requirements
