Job Description




As a Security Officer Access Verification in Conley, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting dynamic automotive and distribution locations. In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, control site access, and conduct routine patrols that help to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service while working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor screening, credential verification, and/or entry and exit documentation for employees, guests, vendors, and drivers at the location.
  • Monitor gates, lobbies, shipping and receiving areas, vehicle queues, and other assigned access points to help support authorized movement of people, packages, and vehicles throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading zones, and other assigned locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Prepare clear activity logs and incident reports, report unusual activity and/or policy violations, and help support security-related procedures for automotive and distribution operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
