Security Officer Exterior Overnight Patrol

As a Security Officer Exterior Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. At a dynamic food and beverage location, our Allied Universal officers conduct routine unarmed patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while adapting to a fast-paced environment and helping create a welcoming experience for employees and visitors.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points, verify entry authorizations, and observe deliveries and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols for a busy manufacturing environment.
• Support order at the location by communicating clearly with personnel, following post instructions, and reporting maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
