Aggregate Scale Person Full-Time

Knife River has an immediate opening for an Aggregate Scale Person based at our Tumalo office location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Operate truck scales through computer terminal

* Answer telephones and assist customers both in person and remotely

* Collect and reconcile daily cash sales (credit card processing, etc.)

* Process end of day paperwork and transmit to office

* Assist dispatch as needed

* Drive to different jobsites within the day to provide lunch coverage and as needed

* Assist with front desk coverage and other duties as assigned

* Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed

* Other duties assigned as needed

Typical Hours 6:45-3:30 M-F

Minimum Qualifications:

* Aptitude for dealing with customers, sales and problem solving

* Ability to operate a computer terminal and manage multiple tasks at the same time

* Legible handwriting, good organizational and communication skills, general math and writing skills

* Must be people oriented, able to provide exceptional customer service, empathetic and flexible

* Previous scale experience is a plus

* Knowledge of market area and previous construction experience is helpful

* Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

* Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test
