Job Title: Senior Big Data / Machine Learning Engineer Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) Duration: 12 Months Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Big Data / ML Engineer to support a banking client's AML and Risk Technology team. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, processing large transaction datasets, and supporting fraud detection initiatives. Key Skills 5+ years in Data Engineering Strong Python / PySpark and SQL Experience with AWS (Glue) and Snowflake / Data Warehousing Hands-on with distributed data processing and end-to-end pipeline development Strong understanding of data transformation and data quality checks Responsibilities Build and maintain scalable data pipelines Ingest, transform, and validate large datasets Optimize SQL queries and data workflows Support production pipelines and deployments Collaborate with cross-functional teams Nice to Have Banking/AML or fraud domain experience Delta Lake / OneLake exposure
