Summary The Specialty Pharmacy Manager, Clinics provides supervision to pharmacists and pharmacy care coordinators who are embedded in specialty medical practices providing coordinated care with providers, nursing, scheduling, and other personnel. Directly reporting into this position, Clinic Specialty Pharmacists provide clinical education, support, and coordination of care to specialty patients to improve patient outcomes, facilitate seamless medication delivery, and enhance patient satisfaction. The Specialty Pharmacy Manager, Clinics is responsible for supervision, development, and leadership of the Specialty Pharmacy Technician Supervisor in the market. This position is accountable for overseeing day-to-day specialty pharmacy clinic operations and supporting collaboration with the central pharmacy fulfillment team. Assists Associate Vice President, & Specialty Pharmacy & PBM Strategy with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives pertaining to specialty pharmacy operations, clinical services, quality assurance, and leadership development. Monitors key specialty pharmacy performance indicators and
informs plans for continued improvement. Plays an integral role in the system specialty expansion strategy by delivering a strong, consistent patient experience with specialty pharmacy clinic services.

- Partners with Associate Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy & PBM Strategy to implement and leadsystem specialty pharmacy strategy.
- Provides direction, expertise, and leadership for clinic specialty pharmacy teams to optimize servicesand efficiencies in collaboration with central pharmacy fulfillment team.
- In the absence of the Associate Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy & PBM Strategy, directs theorganization's ongoing specialty pharmacy functions at the specialty pharmacy clinics in coordinationwith the Chief Pharmacy Officer, including employee training and development, managing pharmacybudgets and approval of marketing activities.
- Acts as a positive role model during change, supporting teams through specialty pharmacy ITenhancements, new operational resources, and changes to day-to-day operations to optimizeefficiencies.
- Works cooperatively with internal medical group personnel to promote and maintain goodinterpersonal and interdepartmental communication.
- Completes internal audits of specialty clinical documentation and is responsible for oversight ofclinical decisions impacting patients, including regular review of workflow processes.
- Supports specialty pharmacy clinic staff selection and professional growth and development.
- Partners with Associate Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy & PBM Strategy to evaluate clinic performance, consider expansion needs, and update budgets in synergy with the healthcare system.
- Demonstrates commitment to the quality, philosophy, and values of Baptist Health by maintainingestablished policies and procedures, organizational objectives, process improvement, and safetystandards.
- Works with Associate Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy & PBM Strategy and other BH leaders toimplement, integrate, and maintain evidence-based and regulatory standards of clinical/operationalpharmacy services with the overall vision for the organization.
- Ensures commitment to stay updated with emerging pharmacy trends, regulations, and evidence-based practices and facilitates dissemination of information to relevant stakeholders.
- Communicates and represents pharmacy effectively throughout all levels of the organization.
- Partners with appropriate internal teams to improve clinical resource utilization and drug therapymanagement.
- Works to prevent and resolve medication related issues, monitors clinic quality measures and servesas a key stakeholder on the Quality Management Committee.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
- 1 - 3 years of pharmacy management experience preferred.
- Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license required.
- 2 - 3 years related experience in ambulatory/specialty pharmacy setting.
