Job Description




As a Security Officer Bilingual Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas through systems and communications, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, and support on-site personnel with clear, professional service. In this dynamic role, you will help to deter incidents, stay engaged with daily activity, and bring our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor communications systems, receive calls and alerts, and dispatch officers or appropriate personnel in response to incidents, service requests, and/or unusual activity.
  • Document incidents, activity logs, and dispatch records with accuracy, and communicate timely updates to site leadership, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal personnel as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate resources and support business continuity during urgent situations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter, helping to confirm coverage of assigned areas as working environments and conditions vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
  • Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
