Armed Security Officer - Site Patrol

As a Security Officer Driver Armed Site Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech-focused location, where you will conduct visible patrols, support access and badge activities, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including preparing clear and accurate activity and incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter access points, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access control points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and/or communicating with site contacts regarding access procedures.
• Support a professional presence at a technology-focused location by assisting with security-related requests, following post orders, and coordinating with local leadership and/or emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
