About the Role This is a ground-floor opportunity with significant growth potential at the center of a rapidly evolving livestream and social commerce ecosystem. As a Studio Livestream & Digital Production Assistant, you will play a hands-on role supporting livestream strategy, production, talent, and performance across platforms like TikTok Live and Amazon Live. You'll help bring campaigns to life while contributing to the evolution of digital storytelling, including emerging platforms and AI-powered creative tools. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, technically curious, detail-oriented, and excited to build something from the ground up. What You'll Do
Livestream Strategy & Planning
- Build and maintain livestream calendars aligned with product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns
- Define show structure including audience targeting, product selection, bundles, and promotional mechanics
- Develop run-of-show formats including storytelling flow, product demos, and call-to-action strategy
- Partner with merchandising and operations to ensure product readiness, pricing accuracy, and inventory alignment
- Execute A/B testing strategies to optimize performance (e.g., scripts, offers, timing, visuals)
Production & Execution
Studio & Set Operations
- Set up and manage camera, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure high-quality production
- Prepare props, product samples, and maintain a safe, production-ready environment
- Coordinate host readiness including call times, wardrobe, and demo preparation
Technical Execution
- Operate livestream platforms (TikTok Live, Amazon Live, OBS, etc.)
- Manage scenes, overlays, product pinning, and live integrations
- Monitor live performance and troubleshoot technical issues in real time
- Execute pre-live checks and backup plans to ensure seamless broadcasts
Digital Innovation & Emerging Platforms
- Identify and evaluate new social commerce platforms and digital tools
- Support integration of AI-powered tools to enhance creative performance and efficiency
- Contribute to test-and-learn initiatives for emerging digital opportunities
- Help evolve the studio into a hub for digital experimentation and innovation
Talent & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support coaching and development of livestream hosts, including real-time feedback and performance optimization
- Partner with marketing, creative, and product teams to align content with brand objectives
- Translate product briefs into engaging, conversion-driven livestream narratives
- Serve as a subject matter resource on livestream best practices and platform capabilities
Content & Creative Development
- Create pre-live promotional assets, countdowns, and post-live content for retargeting
- Design show graphics, overlays, and on-brand visual storytelling elements
- Write concise, high-impact copy for live titles, product descriptions, and CTAs
- Manage digital assets from production through final delivery
Analytics & Optimization
- Track and analyze livestream performance metrics, including:
- Conversion Rate (CVR)
- Average View Duration (AVD)
- Gross Merchandise Value (GMV)
- Engagement and retention metrics
- Develop post-show recaps and actionable insights
- Optimize content, format, and performance through data-driven experimentation
- Build and maintain playbooks for high-performing content and formats
What You Bring
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in digital production, livestreaming, content creation, or social media
- Experience with livestream platforms (TikTok Live, Amazon Live, OBS, or similar) preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of social commerce and digital content trends
- Hands-on experience with video production, lighting, and audio setup
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms (streaming software, content tools, analytics dashboards)
- Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-powered creative or analytics tools
- Background in beauty, retail, or consumer brands
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and performance marketing
