Content/Presentation and Project Specialist

This is a 6 mos remote role (U.S. only)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Project, Presentation & Content Specialist to support a fast-paced product marketing team during a high-output period. You'll provide production and operational continuity across an active program of work. This contractor will be primarily supporting large-scale event preparation, which means work will be highly visible, and must be extremely high quality.

This role is primarily a presentation and content production role - the ideal candidate is a presentation builder and skilled writer who can also manage their own workload and timelines. They will serve as a right hand to senior PMMs, translating strategic briefs into polished, publish-ready deliverables across slides, copy, and marketing collateral, without needing deep business-specific technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

1. Primary role: Content & Presentation Development

Slide Development: Lead end-to-end creation of high-profile presentations, ensuring visual consistency, narrative flow, and executive-level polish for keynotes, sessions, internal briefings, and first-call decks.

Webpage & Long-Form Copy: Draft and edit marketing copy for webpages, product pages, newsroom articles, and content outlines - taking raw input from PMMs and producing publish-ready drafts.

Partner & Collateral Writing: Write and edit partner-facing materials including templates, co-marketing collateral, and partner briefs.

Messaging Guides & Talking Points: Develop clear, concise messaging guides and talking points for field teams, event staff, and sales stakeholders.

Event & Campaign Copy: Write copy for event promotions, social media posts, email communications, and onsite event materials.

Feedback Integration: Act as the central point for gathering multi-stakeholder feedback and rapidly implementing revisions across all content types, managing multiple review cycles simultaneously.

2. Project & Workload Management

Work-Back Schedules: Build and maintain work-back schedules and milestone documents to keep multiple content workstreams on track simultaneously.

Intake & Prioritization: Manage an active intake of content requests from PMMs, triaging and prioritizing based on deadlines and business impact.

Approval Chain Navigation: Coordinate review and approval workflows across PMM, Creative, Communications, and executive stakeholders, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Tool Utilization: Use Slack, Quip, and other collaboration tools to manage briefs, drafts, feedback, and final approvals.

3. Event Coordination

Booth & Session Copy: Write and finalize copy for booth signage, session descriptions, and onsite event materials, managing review and approval cycles with PMM, Comms, and Creative.

Work-Back Schedule: Develop and coordinate event content and logistics work-back schedule, tracking milestones and flagging risks.

Speaker & Registration Logistics: Manage speaker registration, briefing coordination, and pre-event prep communications.

Social Media Coordination: Coordinate social media posts tied to events, including copy drafts, approval workflows, and stakeholder visibility.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the PMM team's point of contact for events dependencies across Creative, Comms, and event operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Presentation Design: Strong ability to build and format visually compelling decks in Google Slides or PowerPoint from PMM briefs, with a keen eye for narrative structure and visual consistency.

Content Writing & Editing: Exceptional writing skills with a proven track record producing polished marketing content - including presentations, webpages, long-form copy, partner materials, and messaging guides - for executive-level audiences.

Marketing Background: Familiarity with B2B tech or SaaS marketing content - understanding what "good" looks like for a product marketing team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders, managing complex review cycles and maintaining alignment in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

High-Volume Output: Comfort managing a large, fast-moving queue of content requests with competing deadlines and multiple stakeholders.

Feedback Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-round stakeholder review cycles and implement revisions quickly and accurately.

Agency & Freelancer Management: Experience managing external copywriting or creative partners, including briefing, feedback, and sign-off.

Analytical Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful - able to take ambiguous briefs and turn them into clear, compelling deliverables.

Experience: 5-7+ years in a marketing content, PMM support, or content role, preferably within a fast-paced technology environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
