Job Summary:

This role provides strategic leadership while fostering a collaborative, high-performing IT team focused on delivering secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions across the organization. The IT Manager partners closely with business units, field operations, and corporate teams to ensure seamless service delivery, leveraging modern networking technologies and strong IT service management practices to enhance the end user experience.

Main Responsibilities:

* Embrace the Company's safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams.
* Support, promote, and practice the Company's core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a customer-focused IT team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Drive a service-first culture, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through timely response, clear communication, and effective issue resolution.
* Oversee daily IT operations leveraging ServiceNow (or similar ticketing systems) to ensure efficient ticket management, prioritization, escalation, and resolution.
* Manage and maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle, including procurement, imaging, deployment, tracking, and secure disposal of devices.
* Serve as the primary escalation point for major system outages, cybersecurity incidents, and critical technology failures, including travel to plant or field locations when necessary.
* Provide handson leadership and team oversight for core IT operations, including network infrastructure management and troubleshooting, device imaging and deployment, and Microsoft Office 365 user support and issue resolution.
* Support and optimize enterprise networking environments, including SDWAN, network access control solutions (e.g., ClearPass), and network segmentation to enhance security and performance.
* Ensure effective onboarding and offboarding processes, including user provisioning, access control, equipment readiness, and a seamless employee experience.
* Act as a key escalation point for complex technical issues, including escalating critical incidents to senior management with clear communication and recommended actions.

Main Responsibilities Continued:

* Manage the IT budget, including forecasting, cost control, capital planning, and procurement to ensure effective use of resources.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, plant teams, and corporate stakeholders to align IT services with business needs.
* Lead or support special projects as assigned, including initiatives that extend beyond routine IT operations and contribute to broader business goals.
* Ensure delivery of secure, reliable IT infrastructure, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
* Lead IT projects with a team-oriented mindset, ensuring transparency, shared ownership, and successful delivery.
* Maintain strong vendor and partner relationships to support service delivery and innovation.

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
* Industry-relevant certifications such as: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ highly preferred.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving history required.

Skills:

* 5+ years of professional IT experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
* Experience supporting multisite environments, preferably in industrial, construction, or manufacturing settings.
* Solid knowledge of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and enduser support, including Office 365.
* Handson experience with enterprise networking technologies such as SDWAN, ClearPass (or equivalent NAC), and network segmentation.
* Proven experience with IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) for ticket, incident, and escalation management.
* Strong background in IT asset lifecycle management, including inventory, imaging, deployment, and disposal.
* Understanding of onboarding/offboarding processes, identity and access management, and access controls.
* Strong leadership, problemsolving, organizational, and customerservice skills, with the ability to work independently and crossfunctionally.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate and escalate critical issues effectively to senior leadership.

Physical Requirements:

* Wears and maintains required PPE (personal protective equipment) to ensure safe performance of job responsibilities as required.
* Regularly required to perform tasks that require visual acuity to review information, inspect materials or equipment, and ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance in work performed.
* Regularly sits for long periods at a desk using a computer to perform administrative, planning, and reporting responsibilities.
* Regularly required to use hands to feel, handle, and manipulate objects, write, and use a keyboard and/or mobile device to complete daily administrative and communication tasks.
* Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds with or without assistance to handle materials, tools, equipment, or documents essential to the role.
* Occasionally works in environments that may include loud noise, moving equipment, dust, or varying indoor/outdoor conditions depending on operational needs.
* Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; overnight travel may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation*: $110,000 - $140,000 DOE

*Estimated target starting compensation; actual compensation to be determined based on assessment of an individual's qualifications, education, and experience relevant to the role.

Benefits: All full-time salary employees are eligible to participate in Simon benefits as defined in plan documents.
