We are currently seeking an exceptional General Ledger Accountant.

About Role:

Incora is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting through journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost accounting support. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys analytical work, process improvement, and crossfunctional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the month-end close process, including preparing accruals, reclassifications, and variance analysis to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Perform and support cost accounting activities and analysis to accurately reflect product and unit costs.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and providing required documentation and reporting.
  • Prepare Census and other regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting deadlines.
  • Support lease accounting activities, assisting with lease maintenance and analysis of lease-related transactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from internal business partners with accuracy and timeliness.

About You::

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 2-4 years of accounting-related experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and effectively navigate ambiguous or complex situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams of internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous audit experience preferred
  • OneStream or JD Edwards experience preferred
