17 Position Summary
Provides decision support to senior management on issues related to the planning process for generation resources to ensure sufficient electric supply is available to meet electric demand. Research generation technologies for feasibility, cost, performance, and schedule. Utilizes engineering economic analysis methods and computer-based business models to support planning decision making on various generation projects and production cost modeling results to budgetary processes. Manages cross-functional teams with members both internal and external to the company. Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Understanding of power generation cost and performance.
Understanding of power generation principles.
Increasingly responsible leadership experience including processes, programs or coordinating the work of less senior colleagues.
Exceptional math skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Management level analytical reporting experience.
Strong presentation skills including demonstrated comfort presenting to senior leaders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail and scheduling. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Math, Finance, Business Administration, or other quantitative field from an accredited university. Required Certifications
Working Environment
Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events. Available to address challenges and issues that may occur after normal work hours, including weekends. Physical Demands
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
