Inova Health is seeking a dedicated Senior Program Manager to join our Inova Anytime team. This is a hybrid, fulltime role with a Monday-Friday schedule, offering flexibility in work hours and occasional oncall responsibilities.

The Senior Program Manager demonstrates communication, collaboration, partnerships, and key community involvement to ensure excellent programs for customers and the community. Effectively plans, develops, implements and evaluates budget. Manages the program in order to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency including development, organization, marketing, and implementation of programs. Responsible for exercising leadership and expertise in the management of quality improvement processes, compliance, consultation, and mentoring of others.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively plans, develops, implements, and evaluates budget. Monitors and manages budget.
  • Prepares market surveys and analysis of competitors.
  • Develops products and marketing strategies to promote the program, increase participation, and ensure effectiveness.
  • Performs annual market review of services to evaluate demand, pricing, market differentiation, and strategies. Uses a planning process to evaluate demand for new or revised services.
  • Oversees appropriate reports to effectively communicate program outcomes and successes for internal and external promotion and requirements.
  • Systematically identifies population/business needs and requirements.
  • Demonstrates effective communication including annual goals, 90-day plans, rounding, and "thank you" notes.
  • Demonstrates leadership and expertise in the management of quality improvement processes, compliance, consultation, and mentoring of others.
  • Plans, develops and implements program evaluations. Leads the credentialing and/or regulatory process.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrates that the program reaches and serves the target audience.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience - Five years of relevant professional experience
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong healthcare operations background, with handson experience managing clinical or nonclinical programs, workflows, staffing considerations, and daily operational challenges

  • Demonstrated ability to identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, or risks and proactively recommend and implement process improvement solutions

  • Experience collaborating closely with clinical teams, operational leaders, finance, marketing, and compliance to support program delivery and growth

  • Ability to lead crossfunctional initiatives across multiple programs to improve patient access, quality, and outcomes

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with frontline staff, physicians, leadership, and external partners

  • Comfortable operating in a fastpaced healthcare environment, balancing strategic priorities with daytoday operational support
