Job Description:

The QA Technician supports semiconductor product quality by executing reliability and verification testing, inspecting product conformance, and maintaining compliance with internal quality systems and military/industry standards. This role is critical to ensuring the performance and reliability of high-reliability microelectronic devices used in aerospace, defense, and other mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform qualification and reliability testing per MIL-PRF-19000 (Group B & D) and related standards

  • Select, prepare, and track test samples per defined sampling plans

  • Handle ESD-sensitive devices in controlled environments

  • Record test data, anomalies, and results in quality systems

  • Review technical procedures, test methods, and manufacturing documentation

  • Partner with Quality, Test, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes

  • Communicate results, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders

  • Perform other job related responsibilities as directed by the manager.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Semiconductor Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, reliability testing, or quality assurance

  • Hands-on experience with microelectronic devices and ESD handling

  • Knowledge of applicable standards, including:

    • MIL-STD-883

    • MIL-PRF-19000

    • ISO9001 / AS9100 / IATF 16949 (preferred)

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures

  • Proficiency with data collection, reporting, and Microsoft Office

Work Environment:
  • ESD-controlled lab and semiconductor manufacturing environment

  • Frequent use of microscopes, test equipment, and small tools

  • Standing/sitting for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs

  • Minimal travel (0-10%)

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $17.00 - $32.69.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
