Our Pediatric Specialty Care Nephrology Division is looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and motivated RN to join our dynamic and growing clinics that provide care to pediatric patients from Maine and New Hampshire.

Pediatric Nephrology evaluates and treats infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of kidney problems and kidney diseases. They treat the full range of kidney conditions in children, from birth defects to endocrine and metabolic disorders. This RN would also be providing treatment to children requiring transplantation and post-transplant treatment.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric RN with a strong patient-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have pediatric nursing experience, with preferred knowledge of nephrology-related conditions. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients and their families through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, administer treatments and vaccinations, triage patient calls, and ensure timely coordination of care while documenting accurately and supporting the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Summary:
The Registered Nurse II - Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
