As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in North Bergen, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to supervisors, property management, and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations observed during patrols or while stationed at assigned posts.
• Support daily property operations by providing directions, answering questions, assisting with access control procedures, and completing detailed activity and incident reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
