Medical Records Clerk

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Records Clerk to join our team at the Dumfries Ambulatory Care Center. Job Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
• At least 1 year of experience handling patient records or working with EHR systems
• Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
• Comfortable using office equipment (computers, printers, copiers, phones)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Core Duties:

• Maintain and manage patient medical records with accuracy and confidentiality
• Pull, deliver, and retrieve records to support clinical teams
• Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors
• Answer and route incoming calls, taking messages as needed
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare documentation standards
