Project Coordinator - Operations & Special Projects

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Coordinator - Operations & Special Projects for a contract position with a major financial services company in Milwaukee, WI, requiring 3 days of on-site work.

Pay Rate: $49.00-$52.00 per hour

Our client is seeking a highly independent, self-starter to support Design Operations during a critical transition period.

This role will focus on documenting and improving core processes, coordinating cross-functional work, and leading special projects from start to finish. You will operate in a fast-moving, evolving environment-bringing structure, clarity, and momentum where it's needed most.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document and standardize key design and operations processes
• Gather requirements and coordinate across teams (design, operations, business)
• Build timelines, track progress, and drive projects forward
• Communicate updates and support the rollout of new processes
• Take ownership of ambiguous, high-priority projects and deliver solutions

What Success Looks Like

• Core processes are clearly documented, standardized, and consistently applied.
• Teams operate with greater clarity and less reliance on informal knowledge.
• Projects move forward efficiently with minimal oversight.
• Stakeholders are aligned, informed, and confident in execution.
• Leadership can confidently delegate complex or undefined work.

Requirements:

• Strong project coordination/project management fundamentals
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to:
  • Gather and translate business requirements
  • Build timelines and manage deliverables
  • Drive execution independently

Nice to have/preferred skills:

• Change management experience
• Experience documenting workflows or process maps
• Exposure to workplace, facilities, or space planning environments
