The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (
GSAPP) at Rutgers University-New Brunswick seeks an innovative leader to join our faculty as a full-time Program Director (Director of Clinical Training;
DCT) of the Psy.D. program in the Department of Clinical Psychology. This non-tenure track, Assistant or Associate Professor position provides an exciting opportunity to sustain and shape the direction of one of the nation's leading programs in clinical psychology. The Program Director will play a leading role in cultivating the strategic direction of the Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program, including engaging in critical program operations (e.g., admissions, student progress monitoring, curriculum development, training and supervision, ensuring alignment of the program with accreditation standards). The Program Director will also oversee student internship placements and provide guidance to the practicum coordinator, ensuring students have access to robust and meaningful practicum and externship experiences. Beyond administrative leadership, this position offers the opportunity to teach courses that align with the candidate's expertise and departmental needs, contributing directly to the education and professional growth of the next generation of clinical psychologists.

Qualifications

A doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
