This is a longterm, highly stable opportunity supporting a large, global organization in a manufacturing environment where technology directly impacts daytoday operations. This role is a backfill for a longtenured IT professional, offering strong longterm potential with a clear path to fulltime conversion. As an IT Site Support Specialist, you'll serve as the primary onsite IT presence, ensuring systems stay up, users stay productive, and downtime is minimized. You'll support a mix of desktop hardware, peripherals, mobile devices, and software in a fastpaced, realworld environment where your work truly matters. What makes this role especially appealing: You'll support an essential, global business with operations and teams around the world Your work has direct impact on production and employee experience You'll gain handson exposure to enterprise IT systems and manufacturing technology Strong emphasis on customer service, autonomy, and ownership Longterm stability, with fulltime conversion and paid travel opportunities after conversion Opportunity to contribute to innovation and sustainability initiatives Key Responsibilities: Provide handson desktop and site support (Windows 10/11 environments) Troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices (iOS/iPad) Install and configure hardware and software Perform basic network troubleshooting and escalate when appropriate Deliver outstanding customer service to onsite users Support IT asset management and local IT processes Ideal Experience: 4-5 years of desktop or site support experience in an enterprise environment Strong hardware troubleshooting skills Basic understanding of networking concepts Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing setting (PPE required) This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the goto IT resource, wants to see the direct impact of their work, and is looking for a stable, longterm opportunity with room to grow. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Asheville, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
