Transform at JLL with your leadership experience as a HVAC night shift Supervisor on a technology client account! You will work as part of an engineering & facilities team at multi-million sq ft client portfolio managed by JLL.

Location: Franklin, MA 02038

Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Reporting to: Plant Lead

Estimated compensation for this position is: $37.98 - $46.54+ an hour

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Supervise and direct shift team and vendors; perform and direct all maintenance service requests efficiently with minimal disruption to operations
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable campus environment by operating, controlling, and performing preventive/predictive maintenance on HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Life Safety systems
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and alarms; perform facility inspections and report on conditions impacting occupancy and operations
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly operations reports and technical evaluations; document work performance and materials procurement using work order system
  • Comply with all safety procedures and policies for hazardous materials; recognize hazards and propose elimination methods; participate in ongoing technical and safety training programs
  • Monitor quality and pricing of outside contractor work; develop sources for stock materials; recommend system improvements and identify equipment requiring replacement or reconditioning
  • Support and mentor junior engineering staff; partner with engineering leads, project managers, and facility stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and represent operations in cross-functional meetings

Physical Work Requirements & Conditions

  • Lift up to 80 lbs. and frequently climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and work/extend overhead
  • Climb ladders up to 30 feet (300 lb. weight limit) while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.; work from heights as required
  • Work in adverse conditions including extreme cold and extreme hot environments
  • Drive for long periods of time and walk long distances to cover property portfolio
  • Work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends as required
  • Respond to after-hours site emergencies as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Five (5)+ years of relevant experience as Senior HVAC Tech, Lead HVAC Tech, or similar role, with two (2)+ years managing maintenance/engineering personnel
  • EPA Section 608 Universal certification and Journeyman Refrigeration Technician's License / Massachusetts Refrigeration Technicians License required
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Building Management System (BMS), and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills with thorough understanding of maintenance processes
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Estimated compensation for this position:

85,280.00 - 89,440.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
