FHI 360 is seeking an Associate II - Corporate and Foundation Partnerships to support the growth of the organization's partnerships with corporations, affiliated foundations and private philanthropy. Reporting to the Director, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships, this role sits within the Account Management and Engagement team in the Strategy and Resource Mobilization group.

The Associate plays a key role in supporting account strategy, business development, and partner engagement across a portfolio of high-priority corporate and foundation funders. The position helps ensure that FHI 360's engagement with these partners is strategic, insight-driven, and actively managed. The Associate provides both strategic and operational support to cross-departmental teams by contributing to account planning, partner engagement strategies, and business development efforts. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing market and client intelligence, preparing client-facing materials, supporting the cultivation of priority funding relationships, and assisting with funder communications. The Associate also helps track progress against strategic goals and promotes the accurate and effective use of the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system (Salesforce), supporting data quality, coordination, and workflow improvements across teams.

This position is well suited for a detail-oriented, analytically strong professional who is motivated by mission-driven work and interested in building a career in strategic partnerships and resource mobilization.

Note: FHI 360 is hiring two Associate II roles concurrently-one focused on Corporate and Foundation Partnerships and one on Multilateral and Bilateral Partnerships. This role focuses on partnerships with corporations and their affiliated foundations, as well as private and family foundations.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Partnership Research & Intelligence

  • Conduct research on corporate and private foundation partners, prospects, and philanthropic trends to inform account strategies and pipeline development.

  • Develop funder profiles, briefing notes, and landscape analyses to support partner engagement and opportunity identification.

  • Synthesize insights and lessons learned to help strengthen FHI 360's positioning with priority partners.

Funder Account Support & Coordination

  • Support the implementation of funder account and engagement strategies for a portfolio of corporate and foundation partners.

  • Coordinate preparation for partner meetings and engagements, including scheduling, briefing materials, and follow up on action items.

  • Assist funder account teams with tracking relationship activity, priorities, and progress against strategic goals.

Business Development & Communications

  • Contribute to the development of high-quality, client-facing materials, including pitch decks, partnership concepts, and proposal inputs.

  • Support opportunity tracking and movement through the business development lifecycle, from early engagement through award, in coordination with internal teams.

  • Assist with internal and external communications related to partner cultivation and stewardship.

Collaboration & Systems

  • Coordinate with technical, program delivery, resource mobilization, and country/regional colleagues to support integrated partnership efforts.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date funder account, engagement, and opportunity records in Salesforce and related systems.

  • Support team efforts to strengthen the account management processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong research, analytical, and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate information into clear, actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare wellorganized, clientfacing and internal materials.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadlinedriven environment.

  • Comfort working collaboratively across teams in a matrixed and fastpaced organization.

  • Experience working with colleagues across diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and geographies; flexibility to work across time zones as needed.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications; familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems strongly preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (or international equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., business, communications, international development, social sciences).

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in partnerships, fundraising, business development, or resource mobilization.

  • Experience working with corporate and/or private foundations; knowledge of their partner engagement modalities, rules, and requirements is a plus.

  • Prior experience in the nonprofit, global development, philanthropy, or social impact sector preferred.

  • Professional, articulate communicator able to engage effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

  • Willingness to work longer hours, potentially outside of typical business days, when required due to pressing deadlines.

  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.

TRAVEL

Less than 10%, with occasional travel depending on partner engagement needs.

The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidates FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.

Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 7% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.

US Based Hiring Salary Range: USD 90,000 - 105,000 annually
