Location: Colorado Springs, CO (United States Air Force Academy)

Type: Non - Exempt

Work Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift. On-call work may also be required based on operational needs.

Compensation: $29.33 - $29.33 /hourly dependent on experience

Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented Asset Data Operator to support operations at USAFA. This role involves managing service documentation, verifying time records, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining organized files. You'll help ensure smooth communication, accurate reporting, and efficient support for base operations. Your precision and dedication will make a real impact..

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Receive job packets and open work orders in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), such as Maximo, NexGen and Builder and maintain the associated data.
  • Compile service documentation packets for assets and the PM and PMTL processes.
  • Verify labor hours against time and attendance records; identify and resolve discrepancies in service data.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure timely retrieval of documentation for audits and customer requests
  • Monitor equipment status and update daily reports; communicate with customers regarding service timelines and completion
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and walk-in inquiries; provide administrative support to supervisors and managers
  • Coordinate inventory and distribution of blank forms and service materials to support ongoing operations
  • Assist in compiling reports related to labor, equipment utilization, warranty, project status and service history
  • Represent the organization professionally in communications with USAFA personnel, government representatives, and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the Work Request Working Group (WRWG) and Work Request Review Board (WRRB) coordination and approval processes
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in data processing or administrative support
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or government contracting environment preferred
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, TMA, eMaint) strongly preferred
  • CMMS or Maximo system training certification preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in database entry, document management, and time tracking systems
  • Effective communicator across written, verbal, and digital channels
  • Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

  • A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
