Job Description Summary Join our elite Memphis-based team as an Industrial Fabric Technician, where your technical precision meets the scale of large-format manufacturing. Located in the heart of one of the nation's premier logistics and industrial hubs, this role is critical to the production of high-performance PVC covers and tensioned fabric structures used across North America. As a key member of our specialized warehouse team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of industrial materials-from heat welding and technical assembly to the expert repair and maintenance of our temporary and permanent structure inventory. Position Responsibilities: Mathematical Precision: Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) and-crucially-the ability to accurately read and translate tape measurements to 1/16th of an inch. Mechanical Aptitude: Proven "hands-on" experience with industrial tools or machinery; comfort troubleshooting and maintaining equipment like heat welders or industrial sewing machines is a plus. Technical Literacy: Ability to read, interpret, and execute work based on fabric drawings, blueprints, or technical plans. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with a small, tight-knit team and report directly to management. Physical Requirements & Mindset: Quality First: A "detail-obsessed" mindset with a track record of producing work that meets or exceeds strict quality standards. Safety Leadership: Not just "safety oriented," but a proactive commitment to maintaining a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment every day. Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting/moving heavy fabric rolls or structural components (up to 50+ lbs) as needed. Reliability: As part of a small 2-3 person core team, consistent attendance and a "find-a-way" attitude are essential to our shop's success. Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 24.80 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
