Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the supervision and professional development of clinical team members within Newport Healthcare's adolescent program. This position is responsible for supervising master's level clinicians while providing essential support for their ongoing development, training, and supervision.

Key duties involve conducting weekly individual and group supervision sessions, assessing clinical skills, creating individualized development plans, and observing clinical assessments, therapy sessions, and group activities to provide constructive feedback.

Further responsibilities encompass ensuring clinical compliance and conducting audits, facilitating therapy groups, and maintaining a caseload of clients and/or families. The Clinical Supervisor is expected to be trained in both individual and family therapy to effectively support the diverse needs of the team and the clients served.


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree required, preferably degree at the doctorate level, from an accredited or state approved graduate school.
  • MN Licensure in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work (LMFT, LPCC, LP or LICSW)
  • Experience in providing family therapy with adolescents and parents
  • Willingness to be trained, supervised and provide services within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
  • Training or experience in trauma-informed treatment preferred.
  • One-year supervisory experience required.

Compensation for this role ranges from $83,000- $107,000 annually, depending on licensure and experience.
