As the Brand Marketing Manager for the Hair category, you will serve as a strategic growth partner to 20+ brand partners, shaping how they engage with consumers and driving marketing programs that increase sales, brand awareness, and long-term equity. This is a strategic and hands-on role: you will advise senior brand leaders, influence marketing investments, develop data-backed programs, and collaborate across multiple teams to execute integrated marketing initiatives across digital, social, loyalty, sampling, paid media, and in-store channels. What You'll Do Strategic Brand Advisor
- Serve as the primary marketing partner for 20+ hair brands, managing relationships end-to-end.
- Understand each brand's business goals, hero products, and growth opportunities.
- Advise senior brand marketing leaders on winning strategies, including sampling programs, paid media, social media campaigns, messaging, and promotions.
- Influence brand investment decisions using performance data, ROI insights, and competitive analysis.
- Guide emerging or resource-constrained brands on holistic marketing strategy both internally and externally.
Collaborative Marketing Program Builder
- Develop and execute collaborative marketing programs that drive measurable sales impact.
- Secure brand participation in key marketing initiatives and optimize co-marketing opportunities.
- Analyze campaign performance and sampling ROI; present insights and recommendations that create mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Optimize promotional and sampling plans to balance brand growth and company objectives.
- Identify opportunities for new co-marketing programs and innovations; build business cases and drive execution.
Cross-Functional Marketing Leader
- Operate effectively within a highly matrixed environment, partnering with Merchandising, Creative, Loyalty, Store Marketing, Education, and Analytics teams.
- Drive alignment across teams to ensure seamless execution of programs.
- Lead through influence, mentoring junior team members and cross-functional collaborators.
- Bring structure and process to fast-moving initiatives while maintaining agility.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or integrated marketing strategy (agency, retail, or beauty experience preferred).
- Strong digital and social marketing experience; familiarity with paid media and performance marketing is a plus.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Confident executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple brands and priorities simultaneously.
