Job Description

This role is based in our Dallas, Chicago, or NY office.

As the Marketing Manager, Event Housing, youwill be responsible for implementing innovative marketing strategies and tactics, generating awareness, and increasing hotel bookings across the North American portfolio.

You will have a solid understanding of the marketing mix, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to influence effectively. You are curious and data-driven, always seeking to learn more about our customers and campaign performance. This role offers a dynamic day-to-day experience, ranging from hands-on campaign delivery and performance reporting to cross-functional collaboration with teams across the business.

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to create processes and procedures, and it is a critical part of the Housing team.Success in this role will also require exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster and maintain strong relationships with Hotels, CVBs, Convention Centers, and other venues. Building and managing these partnerships will be critical to achieving the goals of the Housing team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Implementation

  • Implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaign plans in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation and revenue generation strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a marketing calendar to ensure alignment with business objectives and event timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in housing marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Campaign Management & Execution

  • Manage timelines across events to ensure proper planning, pacing, executiion, and reporting of all marketing campaigns (online and offline)
  • Create impactful, conversion-optimized marketing copy and graphics for various platforms and customer groups (social media, email, website, call campaigns)
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.

Partnership & Relationship Management

  • Foster and maintain relationships with Hotels, CVBs, Convention Centers, and other venues using strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring successful participation and activations.
  • Develop preferred partner programs and exclusive accommodation packages.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for housing-related marketing inquiries from partners and internal stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with key stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Housing and Event Teams to coordinate integrated campaigns and ensure successful event delivery
  • Collaborate with event marketing teams to integrate housing promotion into overall event marketing strategies
  • Provide training and resources to internal stakeholders to effectively promote housing options.
  • Support exhibitor/attendee housing needs and VIP accommodation requirements

Data Analytics & Performance Management

  • Monitor housing booking patterns, conversion rates, and revenue performance
  • Analyze attendee/exhibitor accommodation preferences and booking behaviors
  • Generate detailed reports on housing program effectiveness and ROI
  • Implement data-driven improvements to housing marketing strategies

Operational Support

  • Provide onsite support during shows and events
  • Manage housing-specific websites to ensure they are user-friendly and optimized for conversion.
  • Support the wider Housing team with other initiatives and projects as needed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of marketing experience with event marketing strategy execution
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Digital marketing expertise across web, PPC, social media, SEO, and email channels
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools and reporting platforms
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and technology platforms
  • Excellent project management skills and self-motivated work style
  • High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience developing email templates, deploying campaigns, and optimizing landing pages (Eloqua and AEM preferred)
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events effectively
  • B2B marketing experience with events industry background preferred
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% for events and client engagement

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000 based on experience.
