The Associate Manufacturing Engineer will design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

Position Responsibilities:

* Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.

* Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.

* Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

* Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

* Perform other tasks and duties as assigned to meet departmental and organizational requirements and goals

* Generate ECO's (Engineering Change Orders) and incorporate changes into process documentation and for approval though the CCB process

* Assist with projects/programs/assemblies on the floor- research, looking for tooling, documenting, and performing media capture (photography, videography, and other media) for use in documentation for changes and/or additions to work instructions

* Create and maintain manufacturing engineering handbooks

* Create, document, and manage approved purchase orders for the Manufacturing Engineering Department

* Complete documentation and data entry using various computer programs including IFS, Aegis, Microsoft, Web Sequence

* Obtain component data sheets from the internet, manufacturer's websites, and third-party providers and create documents for reference and usage during the manufacturing process

* Perform router updates and changes as directed by Manufacturing Engineers

* Assist the Box Build Assembly director with special projects as requested to include data mining and tracking of work throughout the manufacturing floor

* Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

* Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.

Essential Skills:

* Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Windows

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently; a 'self-starter' that requires little supervision once given a task.

* Possess good organizational and communication skills, enabling the candidate to work within and between integrated teams and perform a variety of tasks in a dynamic team environment.

* Possess the technical experience and background to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the development, test, and production environments as needed.

Qualifications:

* Be completing Associate's or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

* Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

* Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Work Environment:

* Office and Manufacturing floor; Requires physical capability to work up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Hours 1st Shift; every other Friday with additional hours as needed to meet demand. Occasional off-shift hours may also be required to provide support to operations.

* 9/80 work schedule.

* Office located in Lititz, PA.
