Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Gaston, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol key areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel, and provide customer-focused assistance when questions or concerns arise. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state, and calls for teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, damaged equipment, and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other site systems when assigned, and coordinate timely notifications and response per post orders.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and authorization, managing visitor and contractor check-in, and directing deliveries to designated locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, complete detailed reports, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
