OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations
FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Adopt and creatively support, develop, and produce the Station(s) brand, look, and messaging across all platforms for On-air, On-line and print projects to include writing, producing, On-Air Image campaigns, station IDs, News topical promos, Radio ads, Custom syndicated show and block promos, End-pages and lower third graphics, VO Tags, Photograph direction and editing.
* Work with Adobe Premiere and non-linear editing tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital cameras.
* Create, develop, write, produce, and edit with in-house and outside producers, artists, and vendors on digital art, radio production, custom music, jingles, and on hold messages.
* Write/Produce/Edit special events and contest promos, as well as organize, set-up and oversee special promotional events and on-site activations; produce related elements for use on web and all social media platforms.
* Coordinate and produce syndicated and network episodic promos including creation of production sheets/schedules, supervise editing, maintaining quality control, and direct the input of these spots into a digital database for on-air play.
* Coordinate with engineering and operations for the proper dubbing and purging of weekly promo spots as well as create, edit, and maintain the semi-permanent Dub/Purge database linked to the automated digital on-air system.
* Fill and monitor daily on-air logs for discrepancies, such as missing media, log errors, corrections, additions, or substitutions of promos on all platforms and shows.
* Produce and maintain on-air lower third animations, Pop-ups, Emergency messages, FCC required translator info, contest rules, etc.
* Work effectively and courteously with all other departments such as Traffic, Operations, Production, News, and Sales.
* Must have open working relationships and maintain contacts with FOX Broadcasting and Syndicated Distributors for changes, directives, specials, all necessary promotional elements.
* Coordinate and create advertiser/station promotion tie-ins with Sales Dept; develop major Sales presentations such as fall season montage.
* Develop and coordinate viewer-related contests and participate on social media platforms.
* Work closely with the news department to determine promotional priorities and creative decisions of individual news program promotion.
* Complete/approve electronic time sheets and other corporate required training, certifications, acknowledgments, etc. accurately and within time constraints.
* Update voicemail while out in the field and voicemail/out-of-office email message during absences.
* Regularly receives and distributes information and instruction, via telephone, e-mail, and social communication channels to station personnel and clients.
Occasionally drive an automobile for extended periods of time to perform department functions; must have a valid Drivers license and personal vehicle insurance; local/national travel as required, possibly for more than a day on short notice.
Must be available to work during severe weather situations, (i.e., hurricanes, etc.), as needed and/or scheduled.
Other Duties:
Attend and participate in any company training seminars, meetings or other company sponsored events.
Comply with all Corporate, Station and Department policies, procedures and guidelines.
Perform special projects or reports as required by TVHO or station management.
Regularly check work email.
May be required to work varied hours, holidays, and weekends.
Constantly uses verbal, audible, and visual abilities to perform essential functions. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Constantly operates electronic devices and other related station systems.
Occasionally bends, stoops and crouches to arrange, lift and carry promotion and production related items up to 25 lbs. in weight.
Occasionally moves throughout the station and the department to coordinate work requirements.
Sit and stand for extended periods.
Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the department. It is an essential part of a Promotion Producer's job to be willing to adjust hours to meet the fluctuating demands of a television station in a competitive market. If special events fall on an employee's day off, they may be required to participate. Depending on circumstances, holidays that fall Monday through Friday may require staff to work. Annual vacation and other days off must be coordinated with the Creative Services Manager or VP/Creative Services.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-65,000.00 annually.
