Overview

The Architectural Design Professional is an emerging architectural role supporting project teams through design, documentation and coordination of tasks across all phases of project delivery. This position focuses on skill development, exposure to project processes and application of foundational architectural principles. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Responsibilities

    Applies standard architectural techniques to small projects or portions of larger projects
  • Develops an understanding of project requisites, deliverables and project delivery processes
  • Conducts research, field surveys, studies and analysis of codes and other project data
  • Prepares conceptual layouts, drawings and other project deliverable documentation
  • Collaborates across disciplines to develop material, equipment and product information
  • Learns to interface with clients, stakeholders, consultants and contractors as appropriate
  • Gains exposure to scopes, budgets, schedules and Construction Administration
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Degree from a college or university or accredited professional degree
  • 0-3 years of relevant AEC experience
  • Foundational understanding of architectural design principles and building systems
  • Proficiency with architectural design software, including Revit, MOS and Bluebeam
  • Strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills
