We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our biometric fingerprint hardware portfolio. This role requires deep expertise in biometric technologies, market trends, and customer needs to drive product strategy and execution. The Product Manager will report to the Director of Product Management for Fingerprint and Palm Scanners and the VP of Products and Innovation.

As ourProduct Manager, you'll support HID's successby:



  • Developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy for hardware biometric solutions that aligns with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Defining and prioritizing product features, enhancements, and initiatives based on market demand, customer feedback, and strategic objectives, while collaborating with crossfunctional teams to maintain a clear product roadmap.
  • Contributing to the full product development lifecycle-from concept to launch-by formalizing requirement documents and working closely with engineering, design, supply chain, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of highquality biometric solutions.
  • Engaging with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders, collaborating with sales to gather feedback, formalize market requirement documents, and build relationships that drive product adoption and loyalty.
  • Collaborating with marketing, sales, and business development teams to develop and execute gotomarket strategies that increase product awareness, drive demand generation, and support revenue growth.
  • Owning the endtoend product lifecycle, including lean business case development, ROI analysis, product planning, development, launch, and ongoing product management.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation and building strong collaboration with engineering, supply chain, marketing, and sales teams, while effectively working with global colleagues and traveling as needed to meet teams, customers, and attend exhibitions.



YourExperienceand Background include:



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on hardware and electronic based devices, preferably in the biometrics or security.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading product development initiatives from concept to launch, driving product innovation, and delivering measurable business results.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights and customer needs into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts, both internally and externally (with partners and customers).
  • Successful Experience in Scale Agile development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and driving positive change in the biometric industry.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range does not account for geographic differentials based on the location where the position may be filled. At HID, it is uncommon for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range. Final compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each case.

The base salary in the United States is $120,000 to $135,000.
