Description
The Laborer is an entry level position responsible for maintaining clean orderly grounds, facilities, and equipment and for assisting customers when needed. Laborers must be able to perform independently under close supervision. The Laborer must be willing to work in all climates and be able to perform physically challenging tasks such as cleaning mud and debris from machines and cleaning the wash pad area. The position requires the basic knowledge of equipment operation including lift trucks, aerial equipment, on-highway trucks, and off-highway trucks. The Laborer will demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner. The Laborer will advance in pay as attitude, skill level, and job performance allows. Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
Qualifications Education Highschool diploma or the equivalent required. Experience Previous work experience preferred but not required. Interest in heavy equipment or industry preferred. Skills & Competencies
Job Training
Safety Summary Working Conditions Work is normally performed in a Service Department shop or on location or customer job sites. Exposure to physical risk and variable weather conditions is associated with this position. Standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time is often required. Physical Requirements
