Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Department: Mortuary Science Adjunct Laboratory Instructor Minimum qualifications: Applicants must have an active Funeral Director/Embalmer license. Must have minimum of three years embalming experience. Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university required. Must have graduated from an ABFSE-accredited mortuary school. This is a non-lecture laboratory position. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Set hours, including daytime and weekend, may be required. Previous teaching and online experience preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide laboratory instruction in Mortuary Science. The Salary is $1,457.00 per contact hour, position begins May 25, 2026.
