Inside Sales Representative - OEM Accounts

Location: Dearborn, MI

Pay Rate: $30.55 per hour

We are hiring an experienced Inside Sales Representative in Dearborn, MI to support OEM account growth and deliver exceptional customer service within a fast-paced automotive sales environment. This role partners directly with the OEM Sales Manager and Account Managers to manage quotes, qualify customers, set pricing strategy, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify prospective OEM customers by evaluating end product use, order quantities, and sales viability
• Prepare accurate, competitive price quotations using IMS2 and/or Baan systems
• Set customer pricing aligned with margin and profitability goals
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and online channels
• Proactively follow up on payment issues and claims to protect revenue
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve purchase order discrepancies
• Support on-time delivery and overall customer satisfaction
• Conduct occasional customer visits to strengthen account relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of inside sales, OEM sales support, or customer service experience (or equivalent combination)
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or automotive environment preferred
