Nursing Support Technician
South Fulton Emergency Care
We are seeking Nursing Support Technicians to help launch our brand-new Free Standing Emergency Department. The countdown is on for the opening of our new Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED), and we're looking for dedicated Nursing Support Technicians (NSTs) to help build a strong, patient-centered foundation from day one.
About South Fulton Emergency Care
Grady's new Emergency Center is more than a building it represents our commitment to serving and supporting the South Fulton community with expert emergency care. The 24/7 facility will provide full emergency services for adults and children experiencing critical, urgent, and time-sensitive conditions all within a convenient, community-based setting.
Facility Highlights
The new Emergency Center will feature:
16 exam rooms, including two resuscitation rooms for critical care 4 observation rooms for extended monitoring Advanced imaging capabilities (CT, X-ray, and ultrasound) Efficiently designed clinical spaces to support rapid response A modern, comfortable waiting area for families A community room for free health events and educational classes
This facility is a fully operational emergency department not an urgent care or primary care clinic. It is specifically designed to treat serious medical emergencies requiring immediate intervention. - High School Diploma or GED
- Current Georgia CNA or PCT certification
- Completion of a Basic Nursing Fundamentals course in lieu of certification.
- Current American Heart Association (BLS) certification
- Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and service excellence
- Recent Hospital experience
- Experience working in a fast-pace environment
