Fillzone Technician

Position Overview:

The Fill Zone Technician supports safe and efficient operations within the Fill Zone at our Brownsville, TX facility. This role is responsible for performing equipment inspections, executing gas trailer filling processes, and ensuring adherence to all safety and quality protocols. The technician will work handson with compressors, pumps, valves, and tube trailers containing hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and argon. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a high standard of operational safety and compliance.

Essential Functions Include:

• Comprehend Fill Zone Safety Rules/Features
• Wear Propper PPE: Hard Hat, Safety glass, Face shield
• Comprehend Quality Assurance Program
• Perform daily inspections/rounds of equipment (Compressor, valves, pumps).
• Fill gas hydrogen tube trailers using a compressor.
• Move trailers with a yard mule inside the facility.
• Comprehend where to park trailers after a fill is complete.
• Assist 3^rd party drivers fill trailers Oxygen, Argon, and Nitrogen trailers.
• Clean/Cooldown Oxygen, Argon, and Nitrogen trailers.
• Successfully connect and disconnect hoses and sample line to a(n) Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, and Hydrogen trailer.
• Purge hydrogen tube trailer in and out of services.
• Comprehend the controls system diagnostic screen

This position will also require working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates in Applied Sciences Degree or equivalent apprenticeship preferred.
• 2 or more years Production Operations experience preferred.
• Strong interest in and experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Have a working knowledge of computers and typical computer programs (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Projects).
• Must be able to lift to 25 lbs
